Do you desire to embrace the surreal? Or does your poetry just feel a little stale?

New to writing poetry or an experienced poet?

This Surrealism Poetry Workshop with Derek Adams will help you release the unbridled imagination of the subconscious to revitalise your writing.

We will look at and discuss example poems by surrealist poets and play some surrealist games! We will also explore methods used by the surrealists to find strange beauty in the unexpected and incorporate these techniques into your poetry.

For added inspiration on a journey into the marvellous we will take advantage of the surreal art around us!

All you need to take part in this workshop is a pen, notebook, your eyes and your imagination!

    Age Suitability: 18+
