Spend your International Women’s Day with illustrator Lily from Uwu Studio in a fun, empowering workshop celebrating iconic leaders and trailblazers from all walks of life.
Your day will start with an interactive talk led by Lily and special guests! You will be introduced to inspiring icons and leaders in their relative industries and have the opportunity to discuss ideas and their great works.
A light lunch, tea and coffee will then be provided with vegan and vegetarian options available. Any dietary requirements, please include in your booking. This is included in your ticket price.
During lunch, you will be encouraged to discuss the themes addressed in the talk and your ideas for the portrait workshop later.
This session ends with a portrait painting workshop led with Lily’s expert guidance. Use your inspiration to guide your brush strokes to create a painting of an icon who has inspired you.
Learn new techniques and experiment with materials like acrylic paint, Posca pens, watercolour, using carbon paper and collage.
Basic painting materials will be provided. This lecture and workshop is suitable for ages 16+.
